NASCAR Hall of Fame Inducts 13th Class with Help from CSMP

Headlined by inductees Matt Kenseth, Kirk Shelmerdine, and Hershel McGriff, the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C. enshrined its 13th class on Friday, January 20, and CSM Production played a major role in the production for the entirety of the induction weekend.

CSMP was responsible for set design, built to incorporate both a live event and television broadcast – the induction ceremony was streamed live on Peacock in the United States - scenic fabrication and build (including multiple custom elements with LED integration), lighting design and production, technical production, branding, décor, event creative and run of show. Production also worked with Hall of Fame Induction host, the Charlotte Convention Center, to create a room layout that featured an integration of multiple presentation locations. The final product was truly stunning, and CSMP was able to build upon the successes they had in first providing production services for the event in 2022.

The induction ceremony and dinner featured a “fireside chat” where NASCAR on NBC broadcaster Kyle Petty interviewed the inductees and those who had an impact on their careers. CSM Production also created a “red carpet” entrance and interview experience to properly welcome and showcase the inductees and their families.

Friday’s induction ceremony was preceded by a Jacket Presentation ceremony at the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Thursday, January 19, to bestow the iconic NASCAR Hall of Fame “Blue Jacket” upon Kenseth, Shelmerdine, and McGriff.
