CSMP Takes On The Great American Race

Everywhere you turned during Daytona 500 weekend, you probably saw the work of CSM Production.

Out on the Daytona “midway,” CSMP’s experiential team crafted multiple activations for a wide range of clients. From the Ruoff Mortgage Experience that featured a 360-degree camera meant to give fans their own “Victory Lane” experience, to a 1750-photo mosaic and cattle roping for Florida Beef, to creating the next generation of drivers and pit crew members NASCAR Kids and Walmart’s Adventure Force, CSMP was responsible for engaging thousands of race fans throughout the weekend.

On Saturday Night, CSM Production produced the AdventHealth Catwalk for a Cause and NASCAR IgNight, located across the street from Daytona International Speedway at OneDaytona. The industry party and concurrent fashion show, benefitting the Martin Truex Jr. foundation, concluded with a performance from Canadian Country Music sensation Lindsay Ell, whose performance set the tone for an exciting race day to come. CSMP coordinated all show elements of these two events, including venue management, run of show, staging, lighting, audio visual, layout, décor, and artist management.

For the 24th consecutive year, CSMP played a role in the Opening Ceremonies for “The Great American Race,” a role that has consistently evolved and increased over time. The pre-race set-up featured two unique stages; the first - a 172’ long “pier” stage for driver introductions and the second hosting 2021 CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs in a pre-race concert for the sellout crowd. Following a booming national anthem by Trace Adkins, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds were right on time with two passes over the World Center of Racing prior to the green flag. CSMP also handled “Turn One” hospitality with an assortment of furniture, signage, production and staffing.

It was a fantastic weekend to kick off the 2022 NASCAR Season!
