Meet the Team- Tim Delong

June 03, 2019

It’s time to meet another one of our team members!  This month the spotlight is on Tim Delong, an Operations Coordinator at CSM Production.  Let’s find out more about this Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets fan:

What has been your favorite event you have worked at CSM Production?

-       The Indianapolis 500

Can you describe what you do at CSM Production?

-       I work in the operations department. Our role is to make sure everything goes smoothly for each event. Prepping, loading, and helping execute the event once the time comes. Things such as getting stages ready, building piers, lining up drivers backstage, basically anything that needs to be done to present the best event possible.

What song do you have completely memorized?

-       Bring me to Life by Evanescence

Where would you like to be in 5 years?

-       I don’t know specifically but I want to be happy with my career while working on building a family.

What is your favorite brewery in Charlotte?

-       Olde Mecklenburg Brewery

What do you like to do on your off weekends?

-       I enjoy going to the lake and hanging out on the boat with my peeps. I also enjoy just walking around different areas and indulging in some beverages.

What’s a hidden talent that most people don’t know about?

-       I can juggle 3 objects. No more no less.

If you had a clock that would countdown to any one event of your choosing, what event would you want it to countdown to?

-       Having a little Timmy baby

What job would you be terrible at?

-       Horse Jockey….I am too tall and too heavy. I would win 0 races if I went down that path.

Favorite Sport?

-       My favorite sport to play is basketball and my favorite sport to watch is football.

Tell us about the event with a Dog lost in a maze in Egypt.

-       Vitamin water created a fake movie set in New York city to draw attention to their new flavor and bottle labels. The bottles had various words on them and they picked three random words to make this fake movie. The three words were dogs, maze, Egypt. On the set they had an entire crew to film and produce this “film”. It looked like a real movie set. We provided a giant sandbox with the sand included, a couple of face in holes, and some back drops that were a part of the set.
