Giving for Good: Freedom School Partners Jubilee

July 31, 2014

Freedom School Partners has been a valued nonprofit partner of JHE’s for years. Continuing its tradition, JHE donated audio, video and run of show expertise to the annual Freedom School Partners Jubilee earlier this month.

“I was excited to lead the effort this year for the Freedom School Jubilee,” said JHE’s Dan Mott. “It’s wonderful to be a small part of a day that brings the kids such joy and happiness.”

Freedom School Partners is dedicated to engaging, educating and empowering children to succeed in school and in life through quality educational enrichment programs. The nonprofit organization provides quality summer programs for students in grades K-8 throughout Charlotte’s communities. The annual Freedom School Partners Jubilee unites 1,200 students that love to read, 150 college interns and 500 community guests while raising funds for the nonprofit organization.

“You guys are the heroes of Jubilee,” said Julie Attilus, development coordinator at Freedom School Partners. “It was a great privilege to get to know and work with you all!”

Freedom School Partners is dedicated to expanding the program to further benefit youth and strengthen the community of supporters for children and their education success. Click to donate or volunteer with the organization.

“Thank you for the incredible gift of Jubilee,” said Kate Shem, interim director of development and director of operations at Freedom School Partners. “It could not have gone better from your end. What a gracious team and professional job. Freedom School Partners serves children who most need and can least afford summer opportunities. Every dollar matters and your in-kind donation means thousands more dollars can serve children.”
