When CSM Production’s Golfing 4 Good tournament was founded in 2011, no one knew the impact it would have. Benefitting several worthy causes and members of our family, $200,000 has made an immeasurable difference in the lives of many.

As we approach the seventh annual event, the words of our hometown football team ring true … “Keep Pounding”. “Keep Pounding” honors the late Carolina Panthers player and coach, Sam Mills, who passed away from intestinal cancer at the age of 45.

Help us “Keep Pounding” for a friend of our family and to honor the life of an employee’s brother who helped those in need.

Marshall Keister

At the age of 34 and expecting his first child, Marshall Keister received devastating news … stage III colorectal cancer. With a sizable tumor in his colon, at least a nine-month intensive treatment plan including chemo, radiation and surgery is required. Optimistic and putting up a good fight, Marshall and his family are in need of our support in light of medical expenses and the arrival of their daughter Quinn in September.

John Sloop

John Sloop, the brother of CSM employee Chuck who passed away unexpectedly in July, was passionate about DKMS, an international nonprofit dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. The organization recruits bone marrow donors to provide a second chance at life.  John did just that when he was matched with a cancer patient in desperate need of a marrow transplant. In memory of John, a donor registry drive will be held at Golfing 4 Good.
